A Workshop On Juvenile Lawsuits

On Monday 31-10-2022, Mr. Tariq Sabir, Member of the Council of Kurdistan Bar Association (KBA), accompanied by Consultant Lawyer Omar Mohammed Hassan, on behalf of KBA participated in a workshop organized by UNICEF with the support of the European Union under the title of “Strengthening the Child Justice System in the Kurdistan Region, Identification and Evaluation of the Child Justice System and Technical Support in the Kurdistan Region”.

The two-day workshop was attended by judges of the juvenile courts of the Kurdistan Region, prosecutors general and relevant parties, an assessment in the scope of juvenile justice and corrections was conducted, weaknesses and strength points were identified and comments were made.
