KBA delegation visits Sulaymaniyah

A delegation from the Kurdistan Bar Association headed by Mr. Bakhtiar Haider, President of the Bar Association and members of the Bar Council, visited the Sulaymaniyah Appeal Court and was received by Judge Abdullah Ismael Amin, Vice President of the Court of Appeal in Sulaymaniyah.

After the reception, both sides discussed cooperation and coordination, and the obstacles and problems facing lawyers and ways to solve them and improve the mechanism of joint work.

Later, the delegation of the Syndicate visited the Sulaymaniyah branch of the Bar Association, and they were received by the presidents, members of the branches and lawyers. In his speech, Mr. Bakhtiar Haider dealt with the situation of lawyers and the current situations, and steps to improve and serve lawyers were the main title of his speech.

The present lawyers later submitted their observations to the delegation of the Syndicate. The observations were recorded and the Council of the Syndicate pledged the necessary solutions within its authorities.

It is noteworthy that the last meeting of the Bar Council was held in Sulaymaniyah, where a number of decisions were taken regarding the work of lawyers and the Bar.
