The Syndicate delegation visits Human Rights Commission

In Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, Mr. Bakhtiar Haidar, President of the Bar Association, and his accompanying delegation visited the Independent Commission for Human Rights, and was received by Ms. Mona Yaqo, head of the Commission.

In a meeting attended by Ms. Tavga Omar Rashid and Suleiman Mohsen, the general directors of the Commission. The president of the Kurdistan Bar Association on behalf of the association and fellow lawyers, congratulated Dr. Mona Yaqo, on the occasion of her assumption of the position and wished her success. It is noteworthy that Dr. Mona Yago has served law and human rights at the Faculty of Law at Salahaddin University for the duration of her teaching law students at the university.

Then both sides discussed a number of legal and judicial issues related to human rights and lawyers affairs and the need to respect citizens and not to violate their rights in official institutions in Kurdistan and the whole country, and promised to continue their relations and cooperation in the future.

At the end of the meeting, President of the Syndicate presented a shield of honor to the President of the Commission for her efforts in this field and wished her lasting success.
